Solomon B. Meserve and his wife were admitted to membership with this church (with many others at the same time) July 5th 1840 and had therefore been connected with us at the time of his death almost thirty five years (35).

Permelia Meserve wife of Solomon B. Meserve was a member of the Centre Street Congregational Church. She was listed on page 29 of the church manual as the 400th member and was received July 1840. Manual has her year of death as 1888.

Elizabeth M. Meserve, wife of Lewis, was a member of the Centre Street Congregational Church, Machias, Maine. She was listed on page 33 of the church manual as the 564th member and was received November, 1865.
